[H-GEN] Sound driver problem in Red Hat 8.0

I have recently installed Red Hat 8.0. When I did the install it picked
up my onboard sound card. However when I look at the sound card
detection tool it tells me that the module is disabled. Having never had
any problems with drivers in Linux before I don't know how to enable
driver module. My sound card is a C-Media Electronics Inc, model CM8738
and is onboard an ASUS P4B533 motherboard.
