G'day All,
I tried out the lappie on Johann's earlier model Armarda and still could 
not get a 'power on' light on - just to indicate it was arking up.

His suggestion now is to see if some one else has a similar model, that 
I can try their battery, or get a bit of a zap into mine.
There  is just the slimmest chance that there is only a broken 
connection on the mains in side.

I was just wondering if it would fail to show a 'power on' light if the 
cpu or ram had trotted off to the scrapyard in the sky?.
