G'day Shaun,
I bought a pc card thru Byron [ex New Zealand, $150] - for the boxen.
It seems to work ok at Humbug, but until I get my aerial &  Mast up it 
will not be really pushed.
I also bought a pcmcia card from the Melbourne Wireless Club - $ 70 -+
It should arrive any day. One has to allow about 3 weeks for it - but 
its way cheaper than getting it thru other sources
Anna Gerba put me on to them.
Hmmm,
I have made a decision
I'll run this up the Humbug and Brismesh lists and see who else is 
interested in buying a lucent or equivelent pcmcia card.

I had no probs with Vac and his order system!!!! You can even get a Pig 
tail with the card!!!!

ps  I have found a few 750 mm x 100 mm Stainless steel cup dispensers 
that might well make 'yew beaut' cantennas. More next week
