Of course a much more diplomatic method of addressing this break of
netiquette would have been to at least make a reference to some of the sites
out there that make note of the finer points of creating effective and
understandable email such as:

http://www.emailaddresses.com/guide_etiquette.htm
http://www.emailreplies.com/
http://www.cs.queensu.ca/FAQs/email/etiquette.html

and of course the ubiquitous:

http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc1855.html - RFC 1855

Informing instead of berating an issue is usually a much more effective method
of re-engineering perceptions to the betterment of the community.

Humbug after all is full of new members as well as old. Even if Tony should
know better ;)
