[H-GEN] GLIBC 2.x under RedHat 9?

Does anyone know of any compatibility mechanism for older versions of
glibc (specifically the one with 'GLIBC_2.0' in libc.so.6) for RedHat 9?
I notice that there are compatibility libraries for 7.x, but I am hesitent
to use them with 9. I am attempting to install Oracle 9i.
