[H-GEN] RT3 under Debian

Is anybody using the request-tracker3 package successfully under
Debian?  I'm looking for some clues to get it to actually do
something so I can decide if I want to use it.  But I'm lost in
a maze of Perl/Apache/Debian stuff that tells me I've done a
lousy job of setting it up, and no idea what it really wants.

I'll be at this week's meeting if this is something that would
be best dealt with there ...
