Notes, being notes, is really a framework. As such you can modified it's
behaviour as much as you like.

Yes, you can get it to do "reply with quote", R6 this is just a setting,
for R5 or eariler you can create an agent to do this for you. Go can also
get raw headers the same way.... beyond simple agents or ones that you are
happy to copy into your system, you will need the Designer option installed
if you want to program in Formula Language, LotusScript (ie BASIC), and
Java. There is also a C API ....

[....snip.... alot of complaining about notes]

As a pure email client goes, interface wise - there is a history there that
I will not go into. R6 and the coming release are much improved.

Given my employer, it is the tool of choice... having to use it on a daliy
basis with the proper infrastruture in place, notes can do things that
other tools can't [1]. Otherwise, you can always use a different client to
connect to Domino .... Outlook - sua cuique voluptas[2].

Ciao,

Nik

[1] Workflow, replication, etc. If you want more information I probably
could find some nice marketing stuff :)
[2] Latin sua cuique voluptas, "as the good-man said when he kissed his
cow." [3]
[3] The mail seemed lacking without a suitable quote :0.
