As far as I understand, it uses the aic7xxx driver -- well, at least on
the machines here.  Although we're running Linux 2.4.21 on most of our
machines (and 2.4.20 on a couple of others).  It might be worth updating
your kernel to the latest version if the aic7xxx driver won't work.
