User Mode Linux for those who don't know is basically a "port" of the
Linux kernel which allows it to run as an application in user space.
This allows you to effectively start a whole second machine on your
machine. Nice to have a sandbox to try something in without damaging
your main machine.

It's one way of doing it, and you'd have to charge for a "dedicated"
machine. I've thought about doing this too, but I'm not quite sure I'd
be willing to charge people for it just yet. While I've found User
Mode Linux to be good, it's still got a little way to go because of
various obscure quirks that pop up from time to time.
