[H-GEN] replacing text between 2 strings

Hi all

I have about 200 text files where I need to delete the text between 
multiple occurrences of 2 constant strings.  For example
Return-Path

various text here

Date

Can someone suggest a suitable quick method of deleting this text between 
Return-Path and Date across multiple files.  I have been playing with Ed 
but have not come  up with a suitable solution yet.
