Hi Tony,

Yup, unfortunately Canon and Linux go aboot as well together as certain
royals and drink driving.

Here's my latest response from Canon when I asked if they planned to
have Linux support in the foreseeable future...

  1:13PM, has been added in response to your request.

  I am not aware of any plans for Linux drivers or support in the
  near future. I will certainly pass your email on to management -

It seems that could care less aboot Linux.  Shame, I now use, sell and
recommend Epson printers.  :)  They work great!
