That's a pretty reasonable idea, unforunately it's the receiver who wants
to decide if they get email from both the list and the sender.  So, as
long as we're making suggestions, how about an option that you can select
via a web page (or whatever) that makes the list not send you anything
that has your email address in the cc/to field, therefore giving the
receiver the option of receiving double emails or not and saving the
sender the hastle of cut and pasting the from field to the to field of a
reply.
