Okay. It looks like it is time to send a reminder to old subscribers,
and a quick note to new subscribers about the list's requirements.
In no particular order:
1) Please, no top-posting. This means placing your reply underneath
the message you're replying to, like this:

There are exceptions for style and people who are using mail
software that makes this inhumanly difficult. See also #2.
2) Please don't over-quote. This means formatting your reply so that
it quotes a *portion*, not the entirety, of the message to which
you're replying. It's pretty rare that one needs to quote the
whole message to provide context to a reply.
3) This is kind of an accompanying rule to #2, but try to keep your
signatures short. This has been a bit of an acute problem of late,
but I am not singling anyone out in public.
Now, I'm not threatening here, but I can tell you that when I see
admin requests, my eye is drawn to posts that have obvious merit
and benefit to the list's subscribers, and to deal with them first.
No further discussion will be entered into.
