[H-GEN] netBSD installation problem

Hi,

I tried to install netBSD today (I think it's version 1.6.1) on my laptop
but encountered a rather annoying problem.

When I boot from the CD, it goes through everything fine, until I get a
message like this:

pciide0:0:0: bus-master DMA error: missing interrupt, status=0x21

and the install dies, it doesn't try and fix itself to different DMA/PIO
modes like I've seen when I googled for a way to fix it. I eventually
decided to disable ultraDMA in the BIOS, which let me get to the install
program (I'm newb, if you haven't guessed :)) and let me choose all the
options, partition the harddrive etc etc and select to do the full install
(all packages), but after I do the final confirmation, the above error
message reappears and the install hangs.

I don't really know what's going on, so any help would be greatly
appreciated :-)

Regards,
Andrew Duncan
