I have a tv tuner card in my Debian system and it works great, it is the
only way I can watch tv as I don't have a tv. I couldn't get mine setup but
Mark Suter was kind enough to help me get it running at a humbug meeting.
I don't think they are that hard to get running it was just a lack of
knowledge on my part. There are kernel modules that allow tv cards to work.
>From my understanding any card with the bt848 or bt878 chip sets are
guarenteed to work once everything is setup. You can get drivers for other
less used chips sets but it is more stuffing around.
