I won't laugh, as I'd like to run it myself.  Unfortunately it had various
funky bugs that made it unusable on my system (for mail and news, though
it's a wonderful browser).

The frustrating part was seeing the same version work on every other
machine in this office.  Maybe it's time to download the latest and try
again...

Out of curiosity, does Mozilla mail support PGP? (yes, I know I should go
to GPG, but I've been lazy).

Anyway, I've never used Eudora nor Mozilla mail, so I can't say how
Pegasus compares to them (I haven't used Pegasus now for nearly 4 years,
but I liked it back then).  I just thought it worthwhile to present as an
option.
