Hi Greg.   The file /etc/modules has a list of the kernel modules that are
autoloaded on boot.  The relevant module(s) might be listed there.
However the modules might be autoloading on boot when they discover the
device (but to be honest I haven't seen usb modules autoload in this
situation).
