Good morning all,

I have been asked to buy one of those "webcam" devices for work.  

Before I go racing out to get the cheapest piece of junk I can find at the 
local computer shop, I thought I'd ask for a recommendation based on 
experience for devices to maximise compatibility with different platforms.  
ie: Works with Linux as well as with Windows and Macintosh and ...

I have done some googling, and it seems that one of the Creative Labs USB 
devices might be the best bet.  Unfortunately, when it comes to this sort of 
device, I'm as dumb as the proverbial dog #@%& so I'm not looking for a lot 
of detail.  Any short simple advice will be appreciated.
