I ran wine remotely (from a headless i386 box to my iBook, over wireless)
the other day, and while it didn't quite work -- solitaire worked fine,
but for the program I was really hoping for, some of the Windows widgets
just weren't good enough to make it a success -- it coped quite well
with the remoteness. I had to go into winesetup and change the Look &
Feel settings to remove, I think, DGA and shared memory. I've got DX
grab and double-buffered desktop unset too, I'm not really sure which
one of them ended up mattering.

IME, most modern GUI apps complain a lot no matter what you do.
