One option is to boot another machine from the CD, then enable the dhcp/tftp
stuff and do a PXE or etherboot floopy boot over the network[1].  Should
work OK but I've never tested it.  It can also be booted from a floppy but I
think that still requires a working CD so that method probably would not
help
