I'm assuming Arson is a cd burning program. If you edit /etc/groups (iirc)
you should be able to enter your user name on the end of the line that
refers to either scsi or cd-burning (it's been a while since I did this).
You'll need to logout and back in again for this to take effect.
And I'd like to recommend k3b as a burning program for KDE. It's
fantastic!! Burns iso and bin/cue, as well as audio from mp3 *and* ogg
vorbis, and even burns vcds!!! Now if only I could get neverwinter nights
to run in linux I wouldn't have to reboot into windows at all! :-)
