 The SOHO edition of Vector linux has incorporated the best of the best
in office, graphics, multimedia, gaming and utility software in one
preconfigured easy to install package. SOHO gives you all the necessary
tools to get your home or office computer system productive on first
install without spending weeks or months adding additional software to
enhance your work time efficiency. SOHO is ready for work when you are.
The SOHO EDITION will easily setup and install printers, scanners, and
usb hardware. Features the KDE 3.1 desktop including Koffice and the KDE
development suite. OpenOffice, AbiWord, the Gimp, Realplayer, Xmms,
Phoenix, Opera 6.11, xine, Cups printing system, scanner support, dvd
cdrw support, java runtime, kernel 2.4.20, reiserfs and several
entertaining games are all included. Xfce and the Icewm desktops are
available as well.

Vector is the best Linux I've seen yet.
Some quick features: vlautosetup tool has been integrated to the install
routine so all hardware can be configured, namely the mouse, the network
card, XFree86 4.2.1, cdroms, and sound are automatically setup and ready
to be used upon first boot. KDE 3.1, IceWM, and XFCE are the available
Window Managers/Desktops OpenOffice.org 1.0.2 Koffice 1.2.1 VASM has
been updated - will provide gui menu in X and the usual text menu in
console mode, WMSET to set default window manager for users, XBOOT to
automatically setup the system to boot into gui mode - just to mention a
few updates Phoenix 0.5 Evolution with PDA support Jpilot - PDA sync
software CUPS for printing - can be setup from VASM now. Gimp Xsane
...etc. All the KDE 3.1 i18n files are in the packages/kde-i18n
directory on the cd. NVIDIA users - Automatic setup and install of the
nvidia drivers from NVIDIA for peak graphics peformance.
