redhat does not guarantee access if you are not a subscriber, which is
why I have chosen to use autoupdate

I find it much more convenient, especially since rehdat now only gives
access to updates on a restricted basis (for non-paying members). Also
of note is that redhat 9.0 has been available to telstra users since
april the 1st.
