Sorry Greg, didn't mean that; aren't I allowed occasional exageration for 
emphisis.  Still, repost the question to comp.lang.python, or the python 
mailing list and watch the ratio of wxWindows vs. the rest asyomtopically 
approach 1 :).

I was using Tk, then motif (when I was working for Graeme Hanson quoted in 
the orig' email), then a quick look at Qt before settling with Gtk+ which 
I've been using (appart from the odd swing app) for about 3 or 4 years now.

Of course everythings always been for unix, so I've always considered all 
of the toolkit's I mentioned to be suitably cross-platform.
