[H-GEN] Lycorus Desktop/LX ??

The latest APC mag (for Oct) has an iso image on it's 2nd disk for
Lycoris Desktop/LX.

Has anyone tried it?  What's the real scoop with this?  What other
attractions / features does it have besides being designed to look
and generally behave like winxp?  (heh... as if that is a feature:)
How much of the underlying OS does it "hide", and is it really
functional as a serious easy-to-use workstation and desktop
environment?
