For those that are more interested in open standards based IM, you
could help out with the Yabba portion of my open source matrix-DFS
project. Unfortunately, I have no server up at the moment, so details
are only available at the meetings, via my web server
-http://192.168.146.183/matrix-DFS/.
matrix-DFS is purely portable Java that includes a Jabber IM client,
and a whole bunch of other stuff.
Help that is needed - obviously I need a server to put it on, not just
any server, I need to be able to install and configure a test Jabber
server, and run the server parts of matrix-DFS. I also need alpha
testers, especially for any OS I don't run at home (SuSe Linux 8.0).
