Now, this is possibly just me, but I think not.  Leaving your contact
details and words to the effect that computer equipment will be available
in an insecure location is very foolhardy on a public mailing list.

If I were a criminal, I would now have a phone number to check if you were
home or not, and the address to go and help myself to your stuff if you
weren't - knowing full well that the garage was open to help myself.  (to
at the very least a freezer and an old cd burner)

There is a place for private emails, and passing along details such as
these is an ideal use for private communications.
