Yesterday, I wrote:

Well the news is all bad.  The only emulator that I was able to
get built -- pcemu -- ran various other things fine, but failed
dismally when asked to run the application of interest.  I think
I've tried hard enough to get this to run under Unix, and have
decided that I'll boot Windows when I need to run it.  Sigh ...
