[H-GEN] Temporary public ftp server ?

This may seem like a strange one.  

I'm looking for something like a public ftp site where I can upload files for 
someone else to retrieve at a later time.  Clearly to be able to do this I 
will need both read and write access to a single directory on the site.  It 
would be really nice if that directory could be secured so that read and 
write access was via password authentication.

Does anyone know if such a service exists?
