just a quick thought on a possible 'clean room'  (a far left field approach)

Microbiology labs at UQ or hospitals may have a 'clean box' ie: the type an
operator sticks their hands into gloves and looks through a perspex / glass
window. I'm guessing anything other than thin latex gloves would render your
hands all thumbs, and there would probably be issues of cleaning the clean box
of contaminants to enable it to be returned to its normal use.  [a long
shot....]


I'm thinking this would be a very good reason for a dsig / tutorial session on
backup procedures at this Saturdays humbug, any takers to lead the session at
say 6pm?
