No, I had some issues with reiserfs - it was a while ago,
and I can't remember the exact details.  The only problems with
ext3 was a bug with one of the earlier 2.4 series kernels[1] that
didn't create the journal properly, and hence wouldn't let me
mount as ext3.  It had me (and some others on irc, including
Rob Kearery) tearing their hair out for a while.
