As a quick note, as far as I know, no filesystem will save you from a
disk crash---only RAID (level 5?  Someone help me out) will *really*
save you from a disk wearing out.

And of course nothing will save you from a concerted attack.

That said, I've had *great* experience with XFS and will be using it
as the basis for my filesystem when I reinstall after moving.
