Are you referring to the ports in the current set up?
Or the time I lost the plot with the Debian router server - back in February?
I can assure you I learned a lesson from that one. That is why I am using ESmith
and not Debian - the learning curve on the former is a lot lower!

My understanding of smpt being open is to receive my email and downloads.
and HTTPS is for hotmail, yahoo etc to get the cookies flowing back and forth in
their email- sort of.
But you are right on ident and upnp.
Haven't a clue, so I left them at defaults.
That way the solution is simple.
eh?

Do correct me if I got the logic of https and smtp wrong.
