G'day all,

I know I could probably work this out myself, but before I hit the man pages
etc, I was thinking to just post a message for some advice.
In a number of weeks, I will be in a situation where I will be administering a
server which has the purpose of acting as a router / gateway to an optus cable
internet arrangement.

The server will be my trust old P200, Hermes, which will run squid etc.
The quota will be the new 3Gb plan with the soft cap.
This arrangement will serve 4 people, each of them sharing the connection.

I am thinking to implement this I will install quotas into the system.
Giving each user 25 Mb's per day for the course of the month.

Could I devise a system, possibly displayed via a intranet page which displays
the available quota to date for the user, and as such people who don't use
their full quota from the previous day it gets rolled over to the next day and
so on ?

How difficult would all this be ?

I was wondering what would be the best way to implement this and where.

Kind Regards
