I understand this, and had temp_errors set. I disabled procmail delivery
early May, so I can't recall off the top of my head as to what exactly
was causing the problem. It was a SCO style second or third order cause
to do with a weird combination of fetchmail, procmail and Maildir.

I always found procmails handling of Maildir folders annoying, so I
didn't have any qualms about getting rid of procmail. I've found users
find Exim filters a lot easier to write and maintain than procmail
recipes.

I still have to get around to writing my own MTA one day. Solve all the
things I hate about MTAs, and introduce a whole new set of gripes for
everybody else :)

I could even make broad sweeping egotistical statements in my code about
how every other MTA author out there has issues with their mother and
then cast doubts on their coding ability.

Yes, I will go get my coffee now.
