last time i used realplayer in linux, it worked fine. in fact, i had
less problems with that than the one in windohs (go "community
supported" player yeah!). I have no idea how to get it any more though,
and I don't even have a package lying around. (Was bad with last set of
backups and didn't test... good thing it was only my home computer)

I have been putting off going looking for it however, so I might as well
do that now.

For other media files, mplayer is awesome. I had it playing a WMV file!
I was so shocked I nearly passed out, but happy nonetheless.
