Hm, I've never had big problems with Kyocera + Windows. I own a FS-3500
myself, and work has a KM-1510 (with ALL the printing options, including
the memory upgrade and network adapter). The only problem I've had with
Kyocera + Windows is a truly bizarre intermittent thing with IE/Outlook
Express running on Win2K, where spaces "moved". I haven't tracked down
the issue yet, but I heavily suspect old drivers to be the culprit.

But, as the original post was about colour inkjets...

HP DeskJets are pretty good. I've got a 930 (I think) on the home
network here sitting on a Win98 machine, and I print quite happily to it
using CUPS + Gimp-Print (on Debian). I've also got a Canon BubbleJet
6200 here on a Win2K machine, but I haven't tried printing to it yet.
The 6200 is also good because all the colour tanks are separate, so you
only pay for what you use.

CUPS + Gimp-Print is your friend. Things Just Work.
