Hi all
I am fairly new to debian and have often relied on redhat to setup a sound
card or not needed a sound card, however I have an old debian box which I
have just put an ess1868 card into (isa). I have read many different ways
of setting sound up but without success. The card does work with linux. I
have loaded isapnptools (however have read that this is not necessary), I
have built sound into the kernel as a module for this particular card
(kernel 2.4-18). Can anybody offer any suggestions on the easiest way to go
about this.
Cheers
Shaun
