I use the one from Washington Uni. Same authors as Pine.
Uses standard mail files.

It has some good features regarding locking and connections... if you
open a new connection to the same server/account, this imapd assumes the
old connection is dead. This is very nice in case you have a broken
connection or crashed app, so you don't have to wait till the stuff
times out (or you delete the lock files manually).

I grab my mail with fetchmail from various POP accounts, and do some
procmail magic for personal, business and a shared account with my wife.
The stuff ends up in 3 different user accounts, each with a number of
subfolders that imap can read. I use Evolution to actually read the mail
(connecting to the three imap accounts at the same time), but of course
you could also use Pine or KMail or whatever reader you like. I think
it's a rather nice setup.
