While researching virus scanning for a client I found a site which had
thousands of viruses for use in research (binaries, source, etc). It was
possible to pull down the viruses to pump through various virus scanning
programs to check effectiveness (since they were all relatively old,
anything less than 100% would be a fail :)
Anyway as I recall, there were 2 Linux viruses on the site, among
thousands. One of those was "Bliss" which was really a trojan I believe.
To me, "every day" seems a bit of a stretch :)
Cheers,
-Rob
