That's a good question.  

The problem seems to have been that the title of Talks Maintainer hasn't
really been pinned on anybody, and the role and it's responsibilities
has not been well defined. 

I think  I tried acting as Talks Maintainer for a while, but Brad
Marshall was fielding most enquiries, so I don't know if anybody really
knows what's going on.  

Does anyone else have anything else to add?
