AE is a cut-down screen-mode editor which is tiny, menu-driven and quite
usable the first time you use it.  It's commonly found on
system-recovery disks.  I know for a fact that it was on the Debian
install disks, but I am unsure whether it still is now.  Under Debian, I
think it's called "aee".
