How does Telstra define 'commercial'? Is it considered commercial for me
to run my personal website on my machine? Is it commercial to allow ssh
connections so I can check my email remotely?
I totally agree that connections should be charged on bandwidth alone,
regardless of the number of users and whether I run any services (albeit
personal) on my box. I think it's unfair to have to pay commercial rates
if all I want to do is host a personal website which would be lucky to
make a handful of hits each day.
