Now we're diverging somewhat from the charter of the Humbug general
list.  There should be an automagic paragraph above this one which points
out what should go on the list, and that url, hey, its good reading.

( The 'right' way to do perl is somewhat of a touchy topic, and religious
  jihads are kinda off-topic. )

A good list for people to *watch* is 'Fun With Perl', which is hosted by
Technofile.Org (blame Jason).  Lots of little tidbits there, and all of
the perl-related arguments that you can think of have most probably been
done to death already.

Looking at www.perl.org for their associated mailing lists would possibly
also be a Good Thing[tm].
