[H-GEN] Optus at Home problems

    Sounds like there may be a dodgey NIC in the system - if it rund fine with this NIC disconnected but dies with it connected, then this could be the issue.  Does he have another NIC in this system too (home network)?  May be worth removing and reinstalling the TCP/IP protocol (good ol' Windows kill it, reinstall it and it should work).
     
    
    
    No, has no NIC's at all other than the Optus USB connection - it is a single stand alone box...no home network at all. I have not seen any cofig files yet but I do suspect that there maybe some probs there.
