[ Worthwhile understanding: http://www.humbug.org.au/netiquette.html ]
I am setting up a DMZ server system for my ADSL connection. I was just
wondering if I would be better to put my internet connection into a NetBSD
box. I have run a Linux server for ages, but I am disappointed with Ip
Masquerading, because some FTP and MS Netmeeting functions don't work.
Basically the internet would come in on the NetBSD box, my outside accessable
stuff would happen there, and then there would be a second network card
connected to a Debian Linux server which would then serve my private network.
So I would have double firewalling. But of course that wouldn't help my
netmeeting and FTP problem. Any advice? I certainly want to have two
networks, one public the other private, so what could I do.
