According to the redhat install I did on the weekend on someone elses box
Redhat installs "zip" and "unzip" by default, but doesn't install "gunzip"
or "tar". I'm not sure how true this is. But well... I was shocked.

s/did not/could not legally/
You could add a line to /etc/apt/sources.list in order to get access to
KDE .debs, but they were offically not part of the distribution.
AFAIK redhat supported KDE/Qt illegally.[1.1]

I'm seriously considering *BSD. I've been around with most of the linux
distribtions. (6 at last count I think), I think its time to be able to
troll BSD users with confidence now.
[1.1]
Please *please* correct me if I'm wrong, this is only what I've been told,
my reading has been far less than extensive, and my sources are less than
accurate.
Steve.
I do not intend to start a flame war fyi, and appologise for my trolling.
