Well, in defence of Redhat in the previous post, you can elect to use fdisk
for your partitioning if you like. There is the option in there somewhere
during the start. I much prefer doing it manually for routine installs.

I must say that Redhat does make configuring software raid quite
straightforward during the install process.

The only problem I always run into is getting my partition sizes to be a
usable and managable, but that's a problem with my brain mostly ;)

Sandra, Redhat is really closer to 3 disks for the standard install, by the
time you include the Powertools and Documentation disks. Most of the stuff
on the powertools disk is really quite useful.

Most of the distos seem to have plusses and minuses.

Debian does win it for me, primarily because of
1.	apt-get
2.	It is largely free free software. No messy licencing issues* (For a
business)
