You have a couple of options provided they dont want to change colour
depth on the fly (generally this is not done in windows either...you
usually need to restart you computer if you change colour depth).
Method 1...set default colour depth in your XF config file.
Method 2...chose what colour depth you want to run ( I usually chose 16
bit as the difference between 16 bit and 24 bit is negligible on a
screen display) and during installation just tick the boxes that relate
only to that colour depth eg if you want 16 bit dont tick any 8 bit
displays. If it is past installation edit you config file and take out
the reference to the colour depths you dont want.
Gee this Linux stuff is soooo easy to get on with....any newbie can pick
it up so easily.
