Subject: Humbug General...
Hi Andrae,
I have made a couple of postings to General today, but they don't seem to be
going through.
I am having a problem with missing woody debian files on the mirrors. Do
you know why this would be? Alternatively, could you make a brief posting
to the General list about this?
Sorry to bother you with this. I'm just halfway through an upgrade and
gettign a bit worried about the whole situation.
Here's what I have been trying to post:
********
Hi,
I have recently tried to do a dist-upgrade to the debian distribution,
woody. I have updated my /etc/apt/sources.list file to point to unstable,
and proceeded with an update and upgrade.
The following files came up as not being available on mirror aarnet:
libstdc++2.1-dev
gcc_2.95.2-14
tetex-lib_1.0.7+20000807-3
zlib1g_1.1.3-10
base-config_0.37
enlightenment_0.16.4-4
exim
There were some others, but I didn't write them down. I have checked
ftp.au.debian.org as well, and it really does look like the files are
missing. I'm not really sure what to do about this now. Have I done
something wrong? Or should the files be there?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Anthony
